I had been eyeing up this big “rock slide” for years at the Pemberton Ice Cap. I got a couple days in filming with Slednecks last season and we were close by and decided to take a look. It looked as good as it was going to get. The tranny at the bottom was filled in and I decided it was now or never. I asked Brandon Micku to help guide me in from the top as I knew it was going to be steep and hard to see the line. Well it was steep alright…I had to put my Polaris Snowmobiles RMK in reverse to stop before teeing up the line. I have to admit, I was nervous. A little too much to the right and I would miss the rock slide completely and a little too much to the left and I would be in serious trouble. I felt pretty confident in Brandon’s directions as I sidehilled across the top while Pascal Gallant filmed for Slednecks 19. To be honest, I think Brandon was more nervous than I was at this point! Brandon gave me the thumbs up when I was on my line and I pointed her downhill. I couldn’t actually see over the edge until I had already committed. It turned out to be a super fun ride and made the cut in the movie. You can check out the GoPro footage exclusively here now. Note: There’s a few breaks in the vid to remove some adrenaline driven choice words haha. Enjoy!!
